I’ll be giving two workshops today with Matt Johnson on how faculty members can use their blogs to plug into social networking and other fun things.
If you’d like to learn how to set up an RSS feed on your blog/webpage, or if you’ve ever wondered what a widget is, now’s your chance to find out.
I’ll also give some tips on integrating social networking tools into the classroom, including some neat tricks to try with Twitter and Facebook.
Hope to see you today at either 1:15 or 2:15!

Only another week or so before classes start up for the Fall Semester at SHC. We’ve got lots of fun new library gadgets and web tools to help you find all the information you need for your research needs.

Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter, where I’ve been adding links to interesting sources from all over the academic world. Also, I’ll be posting some Screen Jelly tutorials on how to use the library catalog, how to find an article using Global Search, and various other things you need to know to optimize your library experience.
Yes. I said it. “To optimize your library experience.” Wanna make something of it? Tough. I am a peaceable librarian.
Mostly.
