Neil A. Hamilton, whose Ph.D. is 
is from the University of Tennessee
(Knoxville), teaches courses mainly in early
American history and the 1960s counterculture.

Professor Hamilton is the author or co-author of several books and has written articles for historical journals and magazines. His books include Visions of Worth: The Life of G.S. Lannom, Jr.; American Social Leaders and Activists; The 1970s; and Atlas of the Baby Boom Generation. He is currently writing a multi-volume encyclopedia on scientific expeditions.
